The public cannot be misled by repeated false promises. Amit Shah

New Delhi, February 8. After 27 years, the BJP is going to form a government with a full majority in Delhi. Celebrations have started in BJP offices. BJP candidate from New Delhi, Pravesh Verma, has defeated Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor, Arvind Kejriwal. BJP has maintained its lead or has won in more than 45 seats. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has congratulated Delhi BJP on this excellent performance.

Amit Shah wrote in a post on social media platform X, “Delhiites have shown that the public cannot be misled by repeated false promises. The public has responded to the dirty Yamuna, dirty drinking water, broken roads, overflowing sewers, and open liquor shops in every street with their votes. I heartily congratulate all the workers of BJP Delhi, BJP National President JP Nadda, Delhi State President Virendra Sachdeva who worked day and night for this grand victory in Delhi. Whether it is the respect of women, self-respect of unauthorized colony residents or immense possibilities of self-employment, Delhi will now become an ideal capital under the leadership of Modi ji.

In another post, he wrote, “The rule of lies has ended in Delhi. This is the defeat of arrogance and anarchy. This is the victory of Delhiites’ faith in ‘Modi Ki Guaranty’ and Modi ji’s vision of development. Heartfelt gratitude to the people of Delhi for this massive mandate. Under the leadership of Modi Ji, BJP is determined to make Delhi the world’s number 1 capital by fulfilling all its promises.”

In the third post, he wrote, “Modi in the heart of Delhi, the people of Delhi have destroyed the ‘Sheesh Mahal’ of lies, deception and corruption and have made Delhi ‘Aap-Da’ free. Delhi has taught such a lesson to those who break promises, which will become an example for those who make false promises to the people across the country. This is the beginning of a new era of development and trust in Delhi.”
