Ahmedabad, January 23 . Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday inaugurated the fair organized by the Hindu Spiritual and Service Institute in Ahmedabad. During this, he told that he will go to Prayagraj on January 27 to take a dip in the holy Ganga.
Addressing the program, Amit Shah said that today the Hindu Spiritual Service Fair has been inaugurated. At the same time, Maha Kumbh has been held in Prayagraj after 144 years. The world is surprised at this. People from many countries told me that we need invitation letters. I explained to them that Kumbh is a fair, in which no invitation is needed. They are surprised that 40 crore people come to one place without invitation. They ask me who manages it. I told them that the management done by the government is as important as the contribution of the squirrel in building Ram Setu.
Mahakumbh was organized even during the rule of Mughals and Congress and even today Maha Kumbh has been organized in a very beautiful way. I appeal to the people of Gujarat to be a part of this virtue. Not everyone gets a chance. This time Maha Kumbh is being held after 144 years, everyone should go there. I have been to 9 Kumbhs in my life. I have seen Ardh Kumbh but I am going to Maha Kumbh on 27th January.
He further said that in the last ten years under the leadership of PM Modi, our government has done many big things. Earlier it was difficult to say Hindu but today everyone says it with pride. Ramlala came out of the tent for 550 years and his grand temple was built in Ayodhya. Our government has done the work of ending Article 370. The work that could not be done for seven decades, today our government is completing those works on priority basis. The central government worked to bring back the religious places and divine idols of India which were stolen from all over the world.
Amit Shah said that Ahilyabai Holkar’s stall has been set up in this fair, she was like a shining star in her time. Be it Somnath temple or Kashi Vishwanath temple, she worked to protect religion at many religious places. He has been given a place here, this will give the youth of Gujarat an opportunity to know about his life.
