Bhopal, February 19 . Police killed three female Naxalites in an encounter in Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday.
According to the information, during a search operation in Giri police station area of Balaghat district, security forces encountered Naxalites. Three female Naxalites have been killed in this.
After this, the police search operation is going on. Many Naxalites are reported to be injured. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has congratulated the Madhya Pradesh Police for the success achieved in Balaghat in the campaign being run against Naxalites.
The Chief Minister said that three female Naxalites were killed in an encounter between police and Naxalites in Balaghat district. A large amount of weapons and ammunition have been seized from them during the search operation. The police is giving a befitting reply to the remaining Naxalites. He praised the Madhya Pradesh Police for this successful operation and boosted the morale of the soldiers.
The Chief Minister said that the Central Government is committed to root out Naxalism from all the states by the year 2026. The state government is fully active to achieve this goal.
He further said that due to the efficient strategy of Madhya Pradesh Police, Naxalites have come on the backfoot in Balaghat. Complete vigilance is being maintained to ensure that Naxal activities are not carried out anywhere in the state. Policemen are discharging their duties by risking their lives.
