New Delhi : On 30/01/24 a case of MVT No-002537/24 u/s 379 IPC was registered at PS Karol Bagh in which a scooty No-DL6SAX 7790 was reported to have been stolen. A snatching incident had also taken place on 04/02/24 in PS Karol Bagh area where case FIR No-324/24 U/S 356/379/34 IPC was registered at PS Karol Bagh. With the view to curb Street crime, a team consisting of PSI Trilok Jha, HC Manoj No-177/C, HC Niranjan No-2578/C, Ct. Kamaljeet, and Ct Rajesh of PS Karol Bagh under the supervision of SHO/Karol Bagh and overall supervision of Sh. Ajay Kumar Singh, ACP/Karol Bagh was constituted to check the CCTV cameras and nab the accused at the earliest.
TEAM AND OPERATION-
In pursuance of the task the team visited the place of incident and technically scrutinized CCTV footages installed in the vicinity of the place of incident, some secret sources also reported that the accused might be from the area of Anand Parbat and with the help of local intelligence the accused were identified as two CCLs. The team got the information that the suspects will pass through Gali No-25, Regerpura Karol Bagh. Hence, the team laid a trap at Gali No-25 Regerpura Karol Bagh on the night of 07/02/24 and at around 8:15 PM the team apprehended two juveniles who were seen in CCTV footage. They were riding the scooty No. DL6SAX7790 stolen in case FIR No-002837/24 U/s 379 IPC, Dt-30/1/24. Upon search, three mobile phones, cash rupee 2000/- along with 1 Aadhar Card was recovered from their possession. Upon enquiry it was found that two mobile phones were in connection with theft cases in E-FIR No-80012923/24 U/s 379 IPC PS Parsad Nagar and E-FIR No-80012402/24 U/s 379 IPC PS Parsad Nagar. Both the CCLs disclosed about their involvement in different cases. At their instance two M/cycles and one more scooty was also recovered.
