New Delhi: Police Station Connaught Place, New Delhi District has arrested two proclaimed offenders namely: Santosh Kumar @ Nepali s/o Bahadur Lal r/o JJ Colony, Uttam Nagar, Delhi, Age 42 years. He was declared proclaimed offender in case FIR No. 160/2007, u/s 356/379/411 IPC registered at PS R.K Puram, Delhi, and Yogender s/o Sarwar Kumar r/o Trilokpuri, Delhi, Age 54 years. He was declared proclaimed offender in case FIR No. 748/2001, u/s 498-A/406 IPC, PS Uttam Nagar, Delhi.
A team comprising of HC Ravinder Kumar, Ct. Mohit Yadav and Ct. Naurang was constituted under close supervision of Sh. Upender Singh, SHO/Connaught Place and overall supervision of Sh. Vinay Mathur, ACP/Connaught Place to nab proclaimed offenders. The team made strenuous efforts and collected secret information. On 20.03.2022, based on the secret information, the team laid trap and arrested both accused namely Santosh Kumar @ Nepali and Yogender from their residences in Uttam Nagar and Trilokpuri, respectively.
Accused Santosh Kumar @ Nepali s/o Bahadur Lal – A case of snatching was registered at PS R.K Puram vide FIR No. 160/2007, u/s 356/379/411 IPC, on the complaint of Ms. Reena. During trial of the case, accused Santosh Kumar @ Nepali didn’t attend the court and intentionally avoided judicial proceedings. Subsequently, he was declared proclaimed offender on 20.11.2008 by the Court of Ld. MM, Patiala House Court, New Delhi. Accused is previously involved in following cases: –
