New Delhi:As part of Pan India Outreach and Awareness Campaign launched by NALSA and in celebration of Legal Services Week started from 08.11.2021 to 14.11.2021, SW-DLSA today organized A bike rally which was flagged off by Sh. Kanwal Jeet Arora, Ld. Member Secretary, DSLSA in august presence of Sh. Gautam Manan, Ld. Special Secretary, DSLSA and Ms. Namrita Aggarwal, Ld. AdditionalSecretary, DSLSA from Dwarka Courts. The rally comprised of Judicial Officers, Panel Advocates of SW-DLSA, Para Legal Volunteers, Law Students, Social Workers & Social Activists.
Ms Neha Priya, Ld. Secretary, SW-DLSA, said that “The journey that started with the
Cycle Rally on 03.10.2021 for inclusiveness now culminates today with this bike rally
(ाय का कारवां ), the objective of which is to take justice to the doorstep of the poorest
of poor in the South-West District of Delhi. To achieve this end, the bikers will go to
different remote areas of South-West District such as Toganpur, Mohan Garden, Kakrola,
Dabri, Nawada, Goyla Dairy, Galibpur, Nangli Jalib, Hastsal, Paprawat etc. and spread
awareness about the existence of DSLSA/free legal aid and assistance and helpline
number 1516. This entire team has been formed in order to ensure that every pillar of the
legal system becomes a part of this noble cause.”
SW-DLSA today also organized a Mega Legal Services Camp at Shyam Mandir,
Pochanpur Village, Dwarka, New Delhi whereby help desks were set up for Aadhaar
Card, Labour Card, Voter ID Card, Covid Vaccination, Covid Compensation, Account
Opening, legal aid etc. The camp was inaugurated by Sh. Kanwal Jeet Arora, Ld.
Member Secretary, DSLSA in the august presence of Sh. Gautam Manan, Ld. Special
Secretary, DSLSA and Ms. Namrita Aggarwal, Ld. Additional Secretary, DSLSA. A
large number of people are expected to benefit from the camp conducted by SW-DLSA
which has been actively working for legal aid and assistance in the South-West District.
