Regarding the appointments in the circular issued by the Assistant Registrar (Colleges) to the colleges, it has been clearly stated under Clause 7(2) Ordinance 18 that the college and the institution shall suspend any kind of appointment process without the permanent appointment of the principal. DTA President Dr. Hansraj Suman has told that this circular has been sent by the Assistant Registrar to the colleges in which the Officiating or Acting Principal is working. There will be no appointment of teachers and employees on contract, adhoc or regular basis in those colleges till permanent principal is not appointed. Apart from the officiating principals, this circular has been sent to the chairman of the governing body so that they cannot make appointments.
Dr. Suman has said that there is deep anger among unemployed researchers, non-academic employees due to sending such circulars. Already college principals have not filled these posts for a long time.
