US President Donald Trump may make Indian Geeta Pasi an American envoy in Ethiopia. He announced it on Monday. Pasi, 58, is currently the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary in African Affairs. She has previously served as an American envoy to Chad and Djibouti.

Geeta joined the Foreign Service in 1988. She has been Director of Career Development and Assignments at the State Department. He was also the Director of the Office of East African Affairs at the Bureau of Africa Affairs from 2009 to 2011. Geeta has also been the Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy.

Geeta has also worked in Pakistan and Bangladesh

In addition, she was also deputy principal officer at the US Consulate in Frankfurt, Germany. She has also worked in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Ghana. He has also served at the US Embassy in New Delhi. Geeta did her graduation from Duke University and her MA from New York University.
