New Delhi: As India’s Chandrayaan-3 successfully landed on the lunar surface on time on Wednesday evening, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also witnessed the very special occasion through video conferencing from Johannesburg.
He also announced that ISRO is soon going to launch ‘Aditya L-1 mission’ for detailed study of the Sun. He also described Mission Venus as one of the goals of ISRO.
Highlighting Mission Gaganyaan, Prime Minister Modi said, India is proving time and again that the sky is not the limit. India is all set for its first manned space flight mission.
PM Modi said, “We will test the limits of our solar system and work to realize the infinite possibilities of the universe for humans.”
Earlier, expressing happiness over the success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that with the dedication and talent of our scientists, India has reached the South Pole of the Moon, where no country in the world has been able to reach till date.
Prime Minister Modi said that the time is not far when children will say ‘Chanda Mama Door Ke Nahi Ek Tour Ke’.
In his message, he said that our lunar mission is based on a human-centric approach. Therefore, this success belongs to all humanity. We will test the limits of our solar system and work to realize the infinite possibilities of the universe for humans.
PM Modi said, “India is proving time and again that the sky is no limit.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Johannesburg, South Africa to attend the BRICS summit. He has said that India is now on the moon. The country has seen the first flight of New India.
