Anand Parvat murder case solved, Delhi Police arrests one accused

New Delhi, May 16 Delhi Police has solved a murder case and arrested the accused. The knife used in the crime has been recovered.

Delhi Police reported that on May 15, a PCR call was received at Anand Parvat Police Station, reporting that three boys were attacked by 10 to 15 unidentified men. The attackers took one of the three boys with them. Police arrived at the scene immediately after receiving the information.

Police reported that during investigations, it was discovered that a boy had been stabbed in the wooded area of ​​Ramjas Park. A man was found lying on the ground near the park’s boundary wall, with visible injuries on the left side of his chest and head. The deceased was identified through his mobile phone’s SIM card. No eyewitnesses were found at the scene.

Police registered a case and began an investigation. A post-mortem examination was conducted and relevant evidence was seized for further investigation. A special team was formed to apprehend the accused.

Police said the deceased’s friend was in the area with the victim when some men attacked him and his friend due to an old dispute. They took the friend into the forest and stabbed him to death with knives and bricks. Meanwhile, the witness and his friend managed to escape.

Police took action and arrested a man named Virat alias Gattu. Based on his information, the knife used in the crime was recovered from a forested area near the scene.
