America’s new president takes interest in science and research

Ramgopal Rao said, “For about two hours, Joe Biden took stock of the research work done in various fields. During this time, he had inquired in detail about the merits of the microscope device.”

According to Indian academics, the new President of America, ‘Joe Biden’, can promote the students of India in the field of research in higher education. In fact, the new US President has a special interest in research in the field of science and technology.

After IIT Delhi, Mauritius is now considering opening more new campuses abroad. IIT Delhi, which is spreading Indian education abroad, is also the national coordinator of the ASEAN Ph.D. Student Program.

According to the Union Ministry of Education, the ASEAN Ph.D. program is an initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which he announced during the Republic Day celebrations in 2018 in the presence of ASEAN leaders.

The 51st convocation of IIT Delhi was held on Saturday. On this occasion, the Union Education Minister said that during the Corona crisis, IIT Delhi made the cheapest coronavirus testing kit. Startups started by IIT Delhi have supplied more than 4.5 million regular quality PPE kits.

Apart from this the institute has many other research activities related to COVID-19 which are being carried out by the researchers of the institute in collaboration with industry, international partners and government agencies
