New Delhi| The Congress has constituted three committees, including the Political Affairs Group, Task Force 2024 and the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, as part of the decision taken during its ‘Chintan Shivir’ in Udaipur. Rahul Gandhi is part of the Political Affairs Group along with Ghulam Nabi Azad and Anand Sharma, who are members of the G-23 group. Of. V. Venugopal is a member of two committees and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has been made a member of Task Force 2024.
“After Udaipur Nav Sankalp Shivir, Hon’ble Congress President has constituted a Political Affairs Group, which will be chaired by him,” the Congress statement said.
The political affairs group includes Mallikarjun Kharge, Ambika Soni, Digvijay Singh, K. C. Venugopal and Jitendra Singh along with other members.
In Task Force-2024, P. Chidambaram, Mukul Wasnik, Jairam Ramesh, K. C. Venugopal, Ajay Maken, Priyanka, Randeep Singh Surjewala and former IPAC member Sunil Kanugolu are the members.
“Each member of the task force will be assigned specific tasks related to organization, communication and media, outreach, finance and election management. They will have designated teams which will be notified later. Taskforce Udaipur ‘Sankalp’ Will also follow up on the announcement and the report of the six groups.
Digvijay Singh, Sachin Pilot, Shashi Tharoor, Ravneet Singh Bittu, K.K. J. George, Jothi Mani, Pradyut Bordoloi, Jitu Patwari and Salim Ahmed are the members. The committee consists of former office-bearers, members of the task force and heads of all frontal organisations.
