Eyewitnesses present there told that on hearing the news of the encounter of son Asad, Mafia Atiq Ahmed started crying bitterly in the courtroom. Atiq is unable to control himself. Ateeq sat on the ground. Slogans of Yogi Adityanath Zindabad were raised in the court. During this, Ashraf present in the court handled Atiq.

Lawyers hurled shoes at Mafia Atiq Ahmed outside the court, as well as raised slogans. Mafia Atiq Ahmed fainted after hearing the news of the encounter with son Asad in court.

Ateeq Ahmed made Ashraf sit beside him in the court and said that Ashraf had observed a fast.

Seeing the anger of the lawyers, Atiq and Ashraf were taken out safely under the protection of RF. The police made both of them sit in the same prison van and took them to Naini Central Jail.

On the other hand, Vikram Sinha, an advocate of Jaya Pal, wife of Umesh Pal, said that the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Dinesh Gautam has granted judicial custody of Atiq and Ashraf for 14 days and the debate on the police remand application is still going on.

Atiq Ahmed was brought to the jail here at around 6 pm on Wednesday. Due to the delay, he could not be produced in court on Wednesday.

Atiq’s brother Ashraf, who was brought from Bareilly jail to Naini jail, was also presented in the court in the same case.

Umesh Pal, a key witness in the murder case of BSP MLA Raju Pal, and his two security guards were shot dead in the Dhumanganj area on February 24.

A case was registered against Umesh Pal’s wife Jaya Pal’s Tahrir on February 25 against Atiq Ahmed, his brother Ashraf, his wife Shaista Parveen, two sons, accomplices Guddu Muslim and Ghulam and nine others.
