Azam Khan and son Abdullah get a setback from Allahabad High Court, bail plea rejected in machine theft case

Prayagraj, . Senior Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan has got a big setback from Allahabad High Court. The High Court rejected the bail plea of ​​Azam Khan and his son Abdullah Azam in the cleaning machine theft case.

This order was given by a single bench of Justice Samit Gopal of Allahabad High Court. The High Court had reserved the decision in the case after the hearing was completed on September 2.

Complainant’s lawyer Sharad Sharma said that this case is of the year 2019, a cleaning machine of the municipality was stolen, which was recovered from the campus of Jauhar University. In this case, Azam Khan and his son Abdullah Azam had filed a bail petition in the High Court, but it has been rejected.

Sharad Sharma said, “Azam Khan had told the court through the petition that he had no role in this matter, but he was the trustee of the university. The cleaning machine was recovered from his campus. The court held them responsible for this and rejected their bail. ”

He told that Azam Khan’s lawyer Kapil Sibal defended his client and said that he has nothing to do with this case.

This machine came for the municipality and when the government changed in the year 2017, this machine was buried in the Jauhar University campus by digging a pit. This machine was recovered from the university campus in 2019. A person named Bakar Ali Khan had filed a complaint against Azam in this regard.

Let us tell you that in this case, a case was registered against Azam Khan and Abdullah Azam in Rampur Kotwali.

It is worth noting that SP leader Azam Khan was granted bail by the MP-MLA Court in the code of conduct violation case in 2019, but he could not be released due to other cases.
