PM Modi arrives in America on a three-day visit, will address the Indian community

Washington, September 21 . Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Philadelphia, USA on Saturday on a three-day visit. PM Modi was warmly welcomed by members of the Indian diaspora community at the Philadelphia International Airport.

During this, Prime Minister Modi interacted with Indian expatriates and also took selfies with them.

PM Modi posted on X, writing, “I have reached Philadelphia. Today’s program will focus on the Quad Summit and a bilateral meeting with US President Joe Biden. I am confident that the discussion throughout the day will contribute to improving our planet and tackling major global challenges.”

In another post, he wrote, “The Indian community has made its mark in America and has made a positive impact in various fields. It is always a pleasure to interact with them. On Sunday, September 22, Indian time, I will address the Modi in US event in New York City. Let us celebrate the bonds that connect our countries. ”

After PM Modi arrived in America, US President, Joe Biden posted on X to welcome him. He wrote, “Today I will welcome Prime Minister Albanese, PM Modi and Kishida to my home in Delaware. These leaders are not only essential to ensuring a free and open Indo-Pacific region, they are also friends of mine and our nation.”

Prime Minister Modi will hold bilateral discussions with President Joe Biden and other leaders of the Quad group during his US visit. This includes Australia’s PM Anthony Albanese and Japan’s Prime Minister Kishida Fumio.

After this meeting, PM Modi and President Joe Biden are expected to sign some important agreements related to the Indo-Pacific economic framework and a Memorandum of Understanding related to the India-US drug framework. A letter will also be issued after bilateral talks between the two leaders.

This is the first time that Joe Biden will also host foreign leaders in Wilmington as President. A dinner will also be organized at his home here.

Earlier, before leaving for the US tour on Saturday, PM Modi had said, “I am looking forward to joining my colleagues President Biden, Prime Minister Albanese and PM Kishida for the Quad Summit. This platform has emerged as a major group of like-minded countries working for peace, progress and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region.” Let us tell you that Quad is a group of India, America, Australia and Japan.
