New Delhi| The Bharatiya Janata Party has played a big stake in the West Bengal assembly elections. He has also fielded his current MPs by giving them tickets for the assembly elections. However, it was being foreseen that the party could contest the assembly elections to the MPs in Bengal this time as well. The Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday announced a list of 63 candidates for the third and fourth phases in West Bengal. In the third phase, the list of candidates for a total of 27 seats has been released, while in the fourth phase the list of names of a total of 36 candidates has been released. The special thing is that the party has also surprised everyone by putting Babul Supriyo, a minister in the Modi government.
According to the BJP’s announced list, Rajya Sabha MP Swapna Das Gupta will contest from the Tarakeswar assembly seat in West Bengal. Similarly, the party has fielded Lok Sabha MP Nishit Pramanik from the Dinhata seat. Union Minister of State Babul Supriyo has been given the ticket by the party from the Toliganj assembly seat. BJP has fielded MP Lockett Chatterjee from the Chunchura seat. Actress Payal Sarkar has also been given the ticket by BJP. The party has given him a ticket from Behala Purba’s seat. MLA Deepak Haldar will contest from Diamond Harbor seat.
