New Delhi. This time in the Lok Sabha elections, the Commission will help people through 27 apps and IT systems. Through these, on one hand it will help in surveillance, and on the other hand voters will be able to get information about their candidates.

Along with the Lok Sabha elections, the Election Commission has also prepared the schedule of by-elections for 26 assemblies of Bihar, Haryana, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal. Voters will also get information about the candidates of these by-elections.

Your name can be found in the voter list through these apps. Information about which voter has to go to which center and vote, which booth is his, can also be found on the app. Along with this, recording, reporting and code of conduct violations can be reported through other apps of the Election Commission. The response team will reach the spot within 100 minutes.

Candidates can also complete their affidavit and KYC through the app. Nominations and affidavit can be submitted through the Suvidha portal. Along with this, the candidate can also take permission for his rallies and meetings through this app.

The Election Commission will also share information on ‘Myth vs Reality’. The Election Commission says that these steps are being taken to make people aware about the misinformation coming on social media. This information will be made available to the people through the website.

Apart from this, candidates with criminal record will have to give information about their criminal record in newspapers three times. This will have to be told about on TV also. At the same time, the concerned political parties will have to share information regarding the selection of candidates with criminal records.
