New Delhi | Condoling the death of veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar, Congress leaders on Sunday offered their condolences to her family. Rahul Gandhi tweeted, “Sad news of the passing of Lata Mangeshkar ji. She has been India’s most beloved voice for many decades. Her golden voice is immortal and will resonate in the hearts of her fans. To her family, friends and admirers. my feelings.”
Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also expressed grief by tweeting.
The Congress’s official Twitter handle said, “The passing away of legendary singer Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar Ji is a huge loss for our nation. Her voice enchanted millions and inspired people across the world. Her family, Our condolences to the friends and fans.”
