New Delhi, February 8 Aale Mohammad Iqbal of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has registered the biggest victory in the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025. He defeated the nearest rival Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP)’s Deepti Indora from the Matia Mahal seat by 42,724 votes. Iqbal got 58,120 and Indora got 15,396 votes. Congress’ Asim Ahmed Khan finished third with 10,295 votes.
The second biggest victory also went to AAP. AAP’s Chaudhary Zuber Ahmed defeated BJP’s Anil Kumar Sharma by 42,477 votes in the Seelampur seat. Zuber Ahmed got 79,009 votes and Sharma got 36,532 votes. Congress candidate Abdul Rehman got 16,551 votes.
BJP candidate Vijender Gupta from Rohini won by 37,816 votes against Pradeep Mittal of AAP. The BJP candidate got 70,365 votes, and Mittal got 32,549 votes. Sumesh Gupta of Congress got only 3,765 votes.
Prem Chauhan of the AAP defeated Deepak Tanwar of the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) by a margin of 36,680 votes in Deoli seat. The AAP candidate got 86,889 votes. Tanwar got 50,209 votes. Rajesh Chauhan of Congress came third with 12,211 votes.
Ravindra Indraj Singh of BJP registered a big win in the Bawana seat by defeating Jai Bhagwan Upkar of AAP by 31,475 votes. The BJP candidate got 1,19,515 votes and Upkar got 88,040 votes. Congress’s Surendra Kumar came third with 18,713 votes.
In the elections held for 70 assembly seats in Delhi, BJP has won 48 seats. On the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party candidates have won 22 seats. Congress has failed to open its account for the third consecutive time.
