New Delhi| The number of active corona patients in Delhi has crossed 90 thousand. More than three hundred corona patients are dying every day. In such a situation, the Delhi government has decided to provide oxygen to the Corona patients at their homes. An effort will now be made to provide oxygen to the corona patients with home isolation as per their need. The Delhi government has issued a special order. According to this order, corona patients living in home isolation can apply on the website of the Delhi government if they need oxygen. For this, they will have to provide Aadhaar card information and Corona positive report.
According to the order issued by the Divisional Commissioner of Delhi Government, Home isolation patients will get oxygen registered on the portal if needed.
These applications sent online will be investigated by the DM of the area. Also, the DM will identify those depots and dealers who can deliver oxygen to the patients. The oxygen dealer will be issued an E pass when the depot is identified. Through this pass, he will take oxygen from the concerned depot. The special thing is that patients or their families will not be asked to go to the oxygen plant.
DMs will also ensure that oxygen dealers can get their cylinders refilled daily at the fixed plant. Dealers will be allocated oxygen depots based on the availability of oxygen. From where he will fill the empty cylinders and reach the corona patients.
Delhi government officials will also ensure that oxygen cylinders are available for a sufficient number of corona patients. It will also be an important responsibility of these officers to supply oxygen in a fair manner. This will also be supplied to non-oxygen-dependent non-covid hospitals, nursing homes, ambulances, and SOS cylinders.
Significantly, in the last 24 hours, 20960 of Corona have arrived in Delhi. During this period, 311 corona patients died in Delhi. Corona now has 91859 active patients in Delhi. In Delhi, 18063 people have lost their lives due to Coronavirus.
In Delhi, 181 policemen were found corona positive in the last 24 hours. A total of 12,000 policemen have become corona positive so far in Delhi.
