Delhi’s decision a message to do positive politics for the country: CM Kejriwal

New Delhi | The results of the Delhi Municipal Corporation elections were declared on Wednesday. The Aam Aadmi Party has won the MCD election with an absolute majority. After this, the CM of Delhi has given a big statement. CM has said that this decision is a message for the whole country to do positive politics. CM Kejriwal while addressing party members at Aam Aadmi Party headquarters said that people are fed up with negative politics and will not tolerate it anymore. We do not believe in negative politics and do not do politics of abusing each other. We sought votes for an honest government in the name of good governance, better education and healthcare and people have blessed us.

The CM further said that we have improved the Delhi government and now the people have given the mandate to improve the MCD as well. We congratulate the people of Delhi for reposing faith in us. CM Kejriwal also sought the blessings of PM Narendra Modi and the Center to make Delhi clean and garbage free.

He said that now politics should end here. We all have to work together to make Delhi clean and garbage free and for this we need support from the Center as well. I appeal to the Central Government and seek the blessings of the Prime Minister to make Delhi better. We have to make MCD corruption free.

Today the people of Delhi have given a message to the whole country. We have to end the present system of ‘corruption and bribery’ in MCD now. For this we will need the support of all of you. I would like to congratulate all the corporators who have won the MCD elections irrespective of parties, because we all have to work together for Delhi.

Kejriwal said that those who did not win should not worry as we will take their cooperation to make Delhi a clean city. Delhi had given us the responsibility to improve schools, improve hospitals, provide 24×7 electricity and we have worked day and night to live up to their expectations and will continue to do so. We thank the people of Delhi for reposing such faith in us.
