Dubai: A supermarket in Dubai is delivering mangoes in Lamborghini to its customers at the door. “The king should travel like a king,” says Mohammad Jahanzeb, managing director of the store at Dubai’s Pakistan Supermarket. Mohammad Jahanzeb himself goes to deliver the juicy fruits and takes customers on a short ride in a luxury car. This offer was started to bring a smile on the face of people and make them feel special.
A Gulf News report states that the Facebook page of the famous Dubai Supermarket states that to avail the offer, customers must order a minimum of 100 dirhams. Jehanzeb said Joy Ride was essentially for children who were forced to be imprisoned in homes because of the corona virus. But, people of age are equally thrilled to ride in my Lamborghini Harken. I feel happy to oblige them too.
He said that it takes about an hour to deliver each order. We make about 7-8 home deliveries a day, but are hoping to increase this number to 12. Arshad Khan, a resident of Lucknow, India, said his children were excited to hear Lamborghini’s voice outside their Falcon City villa.
