During the staging, he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his chest and panic, after which an ambulance was called. He died on the way to the hospital in an ambulance. He was 54 years old.
It is being told that artist Sushil Kaushik was a property dealer by profession. He was associated with the Ram Leela Committee for more than a decade. At the time of the incident, he was playing the role of Lord Shri Ram. When his health deteriorated, he came down from the stage. After which he was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The family members are crying inconsolably.
