New Delhi| Launching a scathing attack on the Election Commission of India, Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Mahua Moitra today called it the ‘new crematorium’ of the headquarters of the Election House of Delhi.
Moitra made the remarks a day after the assembly election results of four states and one union territory.
Moitra tweeted, “Nirvana Sadan is the new crematorium in Delhi. The constitutional body is lit here.”
The latest updated data on the Election Commission website states that TMC has won 210 out of 292 seats in West Bengal, however, the figures refer to the Bharatiya Janata Party’s victory in 77 seats. Also, an independent candidate and a National Secular Majlis Party candidate won the election.
