Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a meeting on Sunday. All the officials were present in the meeting. During this, CM Yogi gave necessary guidelines to the officials in view of law and order and upcoming festivals.

CM Yogi said that the result of better law and order, dialogue and cooperation from all sections is that in recent years all the festivals in the state are being celebrated in a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere. This sequence of better teamwork and public cooperation should be continued. He said that apart from Baravafat on September 16, Ganesh Utsav will be celebrated till Anant Chaturdashi. After this, Pitru Paksha will start and from October 3, there is the celebration of Sharadiya Navratri, Vijayadashami. This time is sensitive in terms of law and order. The police administration will have to be alert and cautious 24 hours a day.

He said that all necessary efforts should be made to ensure that every festival is celebrated amidst peace and harmony. Deal strictly with those who issue mischievous statements with a zero tolerance policy. Deal with anarchic elements trying to spoil the atmosphere with utmost strictness.

He said that festivals and celebrations are occasions of happiness. Every person is in joy and delight. Mischievous elements can make malicious attempts to unnecessarily provoke people of other communities, keep an eye on such cases. Make security arrangements keeping in view past experiences.

Apart from this, CM Yogi said that ministers in charge have been deployed for all the districts. The ministers in charge will visit every month. A core committee has also been formed in the districts. All the concerned officers should be present during the visit of the ministers in charge, inform the minister about their departmental progress. Ensure compliance of the instructions given by the minister in charge. The District Magistrate / Police Captain should maintain constant communication with the minister in charge of his district. Keep updating them about the activities of the district. Nodal officers will also be deployed for the districts soon.

Regarding the loss of life and property due to excessive rainfall, CM Yogi said that it should be assessed and compensation should be done without delay. There should be no delay in relief work. Continue distribution of relief material. Ensure that the quality and quantity of relief material is as per the standard. The water level of some rivers is still above normal. These should be monitored. NDRF, SDRF / PAC and disaster management teams should remain in active mode 24×7. All District Magistrates should make adequate arrangements for boats, relief material etc.

He said that the incidence of snakebite or dog bite may increase amid floods or waterlogging. Such affected people should be provided timely treatment. Also make arrangements for the safety of cattle amid floods.

CM Yogi said that in the last few days, there have been indications of a conspiracy to damage railway tracks or cause a train accident. Some people have also been caught. This is a very serious matter. Zone and range level police officers should maintain constant contact with the GRP and RPF forces of their area. Increase intelligence and take strict action against every anarchist element involved in this conspiracy.
