New Delhi: Hindu College of Delhi University has secured All India first place in the category of colleges in the ‘NIRF Ranking-2024’ of the Union Ministry of Education.

On this achievement, Hindu College’s Principal, Anju Srivastava says that it is a matter of great happiness for them that the college has secured the first position in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF)-2024 ranking released by the Ministry of Education. Last year we secured second position but this year we managed to bag the first position.

College’s principal, Mrs. Anju Srivastava received the award on behalf of the college at a ceremony organised by the Ministry of Education in New Delhi.

She said, “The credit for this goes to the hard work of the teachers and the discipline of our students. Our non-teaching staff, who put their blood and sweat in maintaining the standards of the college, also deserve this honour.”

She said that our effort was to maintain our position and not look back. It is easy to reach the top position, but it is difficult to maintain it. The teachers and researchers of our college have contributed significantly in achieving this feat through quality research.

Hindu College is a constituent college of the University of Delhi in New Delhi, India. It was founded in 1899. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in sciences, humanities, social sciences and commerce.
