Srinagar| A Jammu and Kashmir Police constable, who was shot dead by terrorists in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday morning, has died. Police officials gave this information. The constable, identified as Riyaz Ahmed Thokar, was shot near his residence in Gudura village.
The injured police constable Riyaz Ahmed Thokar succumbed to his injuries in the hospital and became a martyr, police said. We pay tribute to the martyr and stand with his family at this critical time.
Meanwhile, the area has been cordoned off. Additional forces have reached the spot and an operation has been started to nab the attackers.
