Major reshuffle in Delhi Police, 11 IPS officers transferred

New Delhi | Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal on Saturday ordered a major reshuffle in the posts of senior officers of Delhi Police. As per Baijal’s order, 11 officers of the Indian Police Service have been transferred to new posts.

1988 batch IPS officer Mukesh Chander, who was posted as Special CP/Ops and LIC, has been transferred as Special CP/Technology and Project Implementation Division. He will also have an additional charge of Community Policing and Media Cell Division.

Special CP Sundari Nanda in Headquarters and General Administration has been transferred as Special CP/HR Division. The Human Resource Division comprises of Personnel Management, Training and Welfare. Special CP Mahila Safety, Nuzhat Hassan will now work as Special CP Vigilance and Public Transport Safety Division.

Deepender Pathak, Special CP of Intelligence will now take over as Special CP Law and Order Division Zone-1 which includes the Eastern, Northern and Central Ranges.

Special CP of Southern Zone Satish Golcha has been posted as Special CP Law and Order Division Zone-2, which includes New Delhi, Southern and Western Ranges.

David Lalrinsanga, Special CP/P&L, and Welfare were transferred to the Provisioning and Finance Division as Special CP.

Special CP of Western Zone Sanjay Singh has been made Special CP in Licensing and Legal Division while Special CP of Central Zone Rajesh Khurana has been posted as Special CP Intelligence Division.

Virendra Singh has been made Special Commissioner of Traffic Management Division.

Special CP Armed Police Robin Hibu has been made the Managing Director of Special CP Armed Police Division and Delhi Police Housing Corporation.

ID Shukla, Special CP Security has been made a new Special CP Protective Security Division.

The LG has sent its order to Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana for necessary action.

Earlier on August 29, 11 officers of the Indian Police Service of Delhi Police were transferred and given new responsibility in the national capital.
