Modi and Rahul will come face to face during the discussion on no confidence motion in Lok Sabha

New Delhi. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s parliamentarianship was restored on Monday after the Supreme Court stayed the sentence. After this, it is believed that Rahul Gandhi may join the discussion on the no-confidence motion brought against the Modi government at the Centre. There is a high possibility that Rahul Gandhi may initiate the discussion on the no-confidence motion from the opposition on Tuesday itself.

However, the final decision in this regard has to be taken by Rahul Gandhi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi can reply to the discussion on the no-confidence motion on August 10. In such a situation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi will once again come face to face during the discussion on the no-confidence motion on the floor of the Lok Sabha and will be seen attacking each other politically.

In fact, this no-confidence motion against the Modi government is coming on the notice given by Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi on July 26, on which the discussion in the House is to begin on August 8, Tuesday.

As per the rules, since the notice has been given by Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi, he has to initiate the discussion from the opposition side. But if Gaurav Gogoi wants, he can propose the name of Rahul Gandhi to speak in his place in the House.

Let us tell you that the Lok Sabha Secretariat, citing the decision given by the Supreme Court, issued a notification on Monday and reinstated Rahul Gandhi’s membership of Parliament from the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat in Kerala.

After Rahul Gandhi was sentenced to two years by a court in Surat, Gujarat, the Lok Sabha Secretariat issued a notification on 24 March 2023, canceling his membership of the Lok Sabha with effect from 23 March 2023. Rahul Gandhi was elected Member of Parliament from Wayanad, Kerala in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

After the Parliament membership is restored, Rahul Gandhi can now participate in the proceedings of the House as an MP.
