New Delhi:The Commissioner of Police, Delhi, Shri Rakesh Asthana pipped senior officers of Delhi Police on their promotions to the next higher ranks in a Pipping-In ceremony held today at Vimarsh Hall, Police Headquarters.
Addl Commissioners of Police Shri Parwaiz Ahmed, Shri Dheeraj Kumar, Shri Rishi Pal, Shri Amrendra Kumar Singh, Shri Ajit Kumar Singla, Shri Veenu Bansal and Shri Raj Kumar Singh were piped on their promotions to the rank of Joint Commissioner of Police (IG rank).
Deputy Commissioners of Police (Selection Grade) Shri Chinmoy Biswal and Shri Ajay Krishna Sharma got their ranks on promotion to Addl Commissioner of Police (DIG rank).
Also, officers in DCP rank, namely Ms. Monika Bharadwaj, Shri Jasmeet Singh, Shri Gaurav Sharma, Shri R Sathiyasundaram, Shri Ved Prakash Surya, Ms. Priyanka Kashyap, Shri Pramod Singh Kushwah, Sh. Mangesh Kashyap and Shri Umesh Kumar got their ranks on promotion to rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Selection Grade).
The CP, Delhi offered his best wishes to the officers in their new ranks.
