New Delhi: One staged robbery of rs 17,71,000/- solved by the joint team of ps Bara Hindu Rao & spl. Staff, north district
An employee of the businessman, dealing in mobile accessories, staged a fake robbery of rs 17,71,000/-.
The complainant and his four associates planned the conspiracy to grab the said money.
The employee has started working in the mobile acessory company from last six months.
Part of robbed cash rs 16,80,000/- (out of 17,71,000/-) and a tsr, a scooty and a mobile phone of TSR driver recovered On 10.01.2022 at 09:00 PM, Mr Deepak @ Deep Chand r/o Sultan Puri, Delh, age-36 years along with his owner Sh. Partap Singh (a businessman dealing in mobile accessories) arrived PS Bara Hindu Rao. Mr. Deepak @ Deep Chand stated in his complaint that he along with his colleague Rahul collected cash Rs 17,71,000/- from Fatehpuri, Naya Bazar, Kucha Ghasi Ram, Chandni Chowk and the cash was kept in a bag. At about 05:30 PM, they took an Auto from Chandni Chownk and were returning to their office at Karol Bagh, Delhi. Suddenly, two Scooty borne persons intercepted their TSR near DCM building, Kishan Ganj Railway Line and both the Scooty riders looted the bag containing cash Rs 17,71,000/-, mobile phones of both employees and also of the TSR Driver and fled away from the spot.
Immediately, a case vide FIR No. 11/2022, dated 11.01.2022, u/s 392/34 IPC was registered at PS Bara Hindu Rao on the complaint of Mr. Deepak @ Deep Chand and investigation was taken up.
Seeing the gravity of the case, multiple dedicated police teams led by SI Kavinder, comprising of SI Ganga Pal, HC Trilok, Ct Naveen, Ct Sachin, Ct Khoob Chand of PS Bara Hindu Rao, under the supervision of Inspr. Gurnam Singh, SHO/PS Bara Hindu Rao and another team led by SI Rakesh Kumar (I/c Spl. Staff), comprising of SI Hariom, HC Ansar, HC Manjeet, Ct Ravinder, Ct Hans Raj and Ct Devender were constituted to crack the case, under the guidance of Ms Pragya Anand, ACP/Sadar Bazar and Sh. Jaipal Singh, ACP/Operations/North District.
The police teams inspected the spots and the scene of crime as stated by the complainant. Both the employees and the TSR driver were enquired in detail. The team conducted technical investigation of the area and minutely analysed CCTV cameras installed nearby the spot and at the possible routes taken by the complainant and the alleged persons, but no fruitful clue was found.
On re-interrogation, all the three persons narrated some different story and the team doubted about the occurrence of the incident. Thereafter, the complainant, his friend Rahul and the TSR driver, Kishan were interrogated separately at length. During sustained interrogation, the complainant Deepak @ Deep Chand burst out in tears and disclosed that he and his friend Rahul planned to showcase the fake robbery together to earn easy money with their other friends, Satya Narayan, Sanjay and TSR Driver Kishan.
Thereafter, the team members immediately swung into action, conducted several raids and formally arrested all the five accused persons in this case. During raid, a cash Rs. 16.80 Lakh, one mobile phone, a TSR and one Scooty used in crime were recovered from their possession.
During interrogation, it disclosed that accused Deepak @ Deep Chand and his colleague Rahul work as collection agents for his owner who runs a mobile accessory company. The accused Deepak @ Deep Chand and his known Satya Narayan @ Satu planned to stage a fake robbery of the collected cash. The accused Satya Narayan @ Satu roped in his friend Sanjay, who agreed with the planning and further roped in his relative Kisore (who is a TSR driver and runs TSR on rent basis) in the plan.
As per their planning, accused Deepak @ Deep Chand and Rahul boarded on the TSR of Kishore. The accused Satya Narayan @ Satu and Sanjay, who were riding on a Scooty intercepted them and overpowered near DCM building near Kishan Ganj Railway Line and robbed the bag containing cash Rs 17,71,000/-. Deepak @ Deep Chand handed over his mobile phone along with mobile phone Rahul as well as TSR driver to the robbers so that they could not make any call. It raised suspicion of Rahul who tried to raise alarm. (Till the last moment of staged robbery, the accused Rahul was unaware about the planning of staged robbery). On this Deepak @ Deep Chand narrated the whole conspiracy before Rahul and convinced him to join them in the conspiracy in lieu of handsome share in the grabbed money. On the way,
On the way, Satya Narayan @ Satu and Sanjay destroyed the mobile phones of accused Deepak @ Deep Chand and Rahul and threw the same on the way and kept the mobile phone of the driver Kishore.
