Hazaribagh, October 2 . Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday, while addressing the Parivartan Maharally in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, launched strong verbal attacks on the ruling Congress, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) in the state on the issue of Bangladeshi infiltration, corruption and reservation in the state.
Describing the problem of Bangladeshi infiltration as horrific, PM Modi said, “In order to remain in power, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and Congress have sacrificed Jharkhand to create a new vote bank. Santhal Pargana is a living proof of how dangerous the game of vote bank is, where the tribal population is constantly decreasing. Everyone can see such a rapid change in demography and the truth of the decreasing population of tribals and Hindus, but the Jharkhand government does not see it. They are not ready to accept that the population balance is deteriorating. The High Court has expressed concern by calling it a serious matter, but the JMM government is denying infiltration by giving an affidavit in the court.” He said that the coalition government of JMM, Congress and RJD has been looting the state schemes as well as the central schemes. These people are usurping even the money meant for ration and water of the poor. While talking about the alleged scam in the state in the Jal Jeevan Mission, the Prime Minister said that even the poorest of the poor families in the country keep a water pot outside their house to serve passersby, but these people ate up the money meant for the water scheme.
Referring to the seizure of crores of rupees in Jharkhand in the past few months by investigative agencies, PM Modi said that such a loot of money was not seen anywhere else. He said, “I have been in public life for a long time. I have been the CM and PM, but I have never seen so many notes as I saw on TV being seized from the houses of Congress leaders in Jharkhand. The JMM and Congress government is about to be ousted, so they have increased the speed of corruption. Thousands of transfers have taken place in the last two weeks. A big industry of transfer-posting is going on here. JMM has played a game of crores of rupees. But, this game is not going to work anymore.”
The Prime Minister said that soon the government will also change and the loot will also be accounted for. He said, “Now every penny will be accounted for.”
Taking a dig at JMM, the PM said that this is not the old JMM. Today this party is being run by those people who want to destroy the centuries-old identity of Jharkhand. Its people and their bosses sitting in Congress want to make the tribal society a minority in Jharkhand. They have always cheated the tribals.
Prime Minister Modi accused the Congress of conspiring to end reservation. He said that these people “want to end the reservation of SC-ST and backward classes and give it to their vote bank”, but as long as BJP is there, no one can end reservation.
