Prashant Bhushan is an Indian activist, lawyer and politician. He was a core team member of the Anna Hazare’s campaign for the support of the Jan Lokpal Bill. He even challenged the Prime Minister decision to appoint PJ Thomas as the supreme head of the Central Vigilance Commission.
On 12 October 2011, he was brutally attacked by some members of Bhagat Singh Kranti Sena inside the Supreme Court premises. He was dragged out of his chair, and was kicked and punched on his face.
