In such a situation, while outlining his party’s aggressive campaign to win the hearts of voters in West Bengal before the elections, Trinamool Congress National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee made it clear on Friday that the pending central dues of the state government will be the main issue for the party before the elections. Abhishek Banerjee held a virtual meeting with all Trinamool MPs and MLAs, as well as the top leadership of the party.
During this, he said that the party would organize large-scale outreach camps in different parts of the state from February 18 to 25, to make people aware of how the central government is depriving the common people of their legitimate dues allegedly due to political vendetta. Still working.
The camps will be organized from 10 am to 6 pm. According to the leaders who participated in the meeting, Abhishek Banerjee said that often people do not have clear information about the formalities related to central funds under centrally sponsored schemes like the 100-day employment scheme under MNREGA.
A party leader present at the meeting said, “People are often not aware whether the expenses of such centrally sponsored schemes are borne by the central government or the state government. Abhishek Banerjee has ordered us to organize massive outreach camps to make the common people aware of the truth behind the payments under various schemes.
He said Abhishek Banerjee has also directed the party leadership to organize mass meetings across the state on March 1 and 2 with special focus on the 100-day employment scheme.
Abhishek Banerjee has directed, that ‘Remove Zamindari, Save Bangla’ will be the main slogan of Trinamool Congress for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
