Ruckus in Delhi Assembly amid allegations and counter allegations, BJP MLA suspended

New Delhi | The round of accusations and counter-allegations between the Aam Aadmi Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party continues. These allegations have now started turning into a confrontation and on Thursday this confrontation was also seen in the Delhi Assembly. Amidst the growing uproar, 5 BJP MLAs were thrown out of the assembly. The Bharatiya Janata Party accused the Kejriwal government of an education scam inside the house. Along with this, BJP MLAs also tried to surround the Kejriwal government on the liquor policy. However, in response to this, the MLAs of the Aam Aadmi Party have accused the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi of a scam of Rs 1400 crore while being the chairman of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission. Simultaneously, allegations of Operation Lotus were leveled against the BJP.

It is worth noting that for the last three consecutive days, Aam Aadmi Party MLAs are taking out candle march in the Delhi Assembly demanding an inquiry from the Lieutenant Governor. At the same time, on Thursday, outside the assembly, BJP workers demonstrated against the Delhi government. He said that his performance is against the corruption and wrong liquor policy of the Delhi government. Overall, the situation has been that corruption allegations are being leveled against each other from both sides, due to which the conflict has increased further.

The Aam Aadmi Party has accused the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi of a scam of Rs 1400 crore while being the chairman of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission. It has also demanded an inquiry into the alleged scam. Aam Aadmi Party MLAs are continuously demonstrating in the Delhi Assembly regarding this demand.

On Thursday, Aam Aadmi Party MLA Atishi said that she has sought time from the President, the custodian of India’s democracy. A delegation of Aam Aadmi Party MLAs wants to meet the President to discuss ‘Operation Lotus’.

AAP’s MLA and spokesperson Saurabh Bhardwaj said that we will not rest till the central government accepts our demand to start a fair investigation. Bhardwaj said that the Aam Aadmi Party is protesting against the big scam of 1,400 crores committed by the then Chairman of Khadi Commission Vinay Kumar Saxena. AAP MLAs have unanimously decided to camp overnight in the Delhi Assembly demanding a CBI probe into the allegations leveled against Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena.

Reiterating their point on Thursday, Aam Aadmi Party MLAs said that the Bharatiya Janata Party keeps toppling state governments across the country. They bring down governments by intimidating MLAs and offering crores of rupees. BJP has so far bought 277 MLAs. There was a plan to buy 40 MLAs in Delhi.

MLA Durgesh Pathak said that BJP has spent more than 6300 crores in buying more than 277 MLAs of the country. It should be investigated. MLA Kuldeep Kumar said that BJP increased tax on countrymen, GST on milk and curd, and increases the price of petrol and diesel. Later it is used to buy MLAs.
