JAMMU | An army soldier was injured in a blast in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. Police sources said Captain Saurav Kumar of the 19 Kumaon Regiment was injured on Tuesday evening while he was handling a grenade which suddenly exploded.
The incident took place in the Balakot sector of the Line of Control (LoC). The injured have been admitted to the Army Hospital in Rajouri.
