There is no difference between the battle of Kurukshetra and the fight against the British Empire and the battle of today: Priyanka Gandhi

Julana (Haryana), October 2  Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi addressed a huge public meeting on Wednesday in favor of party candidate Vinesh Phogat from Julana assembly seat in the electoral state of Haryana. During this, she called upon the people to use the power of their vote against injustice.

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi targeted the BJP government of the state and said that injustice is being done to the youth, wrestlers, farmers and women. God has said that whenever there is injustice, he will come among you to fight. This same God is in your heart, when will you stand up against this injustice?

Referring to Vinesh Phogat, Priyanka Gandhi said that when Phogat stood up against injustice, big leaders left her. Modi ji also did not meet her. Vinesh was dragged on the road, but still she did not bend and break, rather she went to the Olympics and fought for us. The people of the country stood with them, the country recognizes the truth. Battles were fought against Kurukshetra and the British Empire, there is no difference between that and today’s battle. This battle is also against injustice, untruth and evil people.

She further said that when leaders come on stage, they talk big, but when the time for work comes, they don’t even look at us. Farmers are crushed by the minister’s son. The public does the work of making the government and the leaders. Now the time has come to interrupt the leaders. The BJP government has not done any work for you in the last 10 years. When these people talk about corruption, I laugh, what could be a bigger corruption than giving all the industries of the country to your two friends. You were going to bring such a law, due to which the farmers of this country would have been crushed and your two friends would have got the benefit of the law, but the public recognized it and fought.

Priyanka Gandhi said that Satyamev Jayate is not just a saying, but it is engraved in our Constitution. You have the power of vote, with which you can change your future. Understand this thing deeply. Lok Sabha elections were held a few days ago, everyone saw the result of it, what happened?

Further Priyanka Gandhi said that today the jobs of small traders and farmers have ended. The policies of this government are against you. BJP brought Agniveer, in which there is a job for 4 years and there is no pension. The youth becomes unemployed after 4 years and then look for a job. Similarly, the people of Haryana are being kept away from government facilities by trapping them in the trap of family ID. Injustice is being done to the people of Haryana at every level.

She asked from the stage that who makes the government? Who makes the leaders? Can we move forward without you?

She appealed to the people to fight the battle, we will all fight together, bring a new government, show each and every leader of BJP that this falsehood, loot, corruption, all this will not work.

She said that a few years ago I brought my daughter to Haryana for a basketball camp. I had to wait for him to return from camp. A grandfather was harvesting in the fields at some distance from where I was waiting. I asked him to teach me harvesting. He taught me a little harvesting and then said that you must be tired, let’s go home and take some rest. When I went to his house, his family gave me tea, fed me parathas and talked a lot. 8-10 years have passed since this incident. Even today, whenever he comes home, he brings ghee, sugarcane or something for the children. This closeness is the culture and values of Haryana.

Priyanka said, my daughter used to play for Haryana. Once I went to Pondicherry with her for a basketball camp. There was a girl named Ritika, who was from Haryana and was the captain of the basketball team. She had 102 degree fever on the day of the match, but she played with hard work. Every girl of Haryana has a fire in her heart to achieve something. Vinesh also struggled like this and when she returned after winning the medal, everyone felt proud, PM Modi met her. But then the trust in the government and the system was lost because injustice was done to Vinesh and her teammates.
