Greater Noida, . Beta 2 police station of Greater Noida has arrested two members of a gang who were blackmailing people by making obscene videos on mobile. Due to blackmailing by this gang, a youth committed suicide on March 23, after which the police registered a case and started investigation. In this case, police have arrested two accused from Jaipur.
According to the information received from the police, Police Station Beta-2 had received a complaint that on the night of March 22, during a video call on the mobile phone of a person named Shivansh Mahendra, money was demanded by threatening to make an obscene video and make it viral.
On this, Shivansh committed suicide by writing a suicide note.
In this incident, the police team, while disclosing the case, has arrested Amit Burman and Sanjeev Batautia from Jaipur. During police interrogation, it was revealed from the arrested accused that they have a gang, in which Amit Burman, Sanjeev Batautia, Taufiq and one other person are members.
He had made a WhatsApp video call on Shivansh’s mobile phone on the night of 22 March. The accused had made obscene photos and videos of Shivansh during the video call, threatening to make them viral and transferred about Rs 25,000 from Shivansh to his bank accounts.
After getting Rs 25,000 transferred, the accused demanded more money from Shivansh. Unable to fulfill the demand and save his image, Shivansh committed suicide the same night.
His body was found in a drain near Dhakiya Baba roundabout on March 23.
Before committing suicide, Shivansh had also written a suicide note in which he told the entire story. In this case, the police had registered an FIR and formed a team to arrest the accused.
The names of Amit Burman, Sanjeev Batautia, Taufiq and another accused had come up in the police investigation.
