The All India Minority Front has recommended the government for mass vaccination to arrest the current spread of the deadly disease across the country.
In a statement on Tuesday, he called for scaling up the manufacturing of coronavirus vaccines both domestically and globally to fight the deadly pandemic.
” We need to break the chain and this can happen only through vaccination, tracing and testing,” he added.
The AIMF supremo observed that “till now, less than 10% of the country’s population has been vaccinated and at this rate, it will take 2025 to vaccinate the whole population.”
Dr Asif stated that Israel is the world leader in vaccinating its population against COVID-19. As of May 10, 60 percent of Israel’s population had been fully vaccinated, and 35 percent had its first dose.
