Islamabad| Former Pakistan President and Army Chief Pervez Musharraf died on Sunday in a hospital in Dubai. His family sources have confirmed his death. Geo News reported that the former military ruler was undergoing treatment for the disease at the American Hospital in Dubai.
Dawn News reported that 79-year-old Musharraf was suffering from amyloidosis disease.
Expressing heartfelt condolences, the media wing of the Army, Inter-Services Public Relations said in a statement, ‘May Allah give peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family’.
