November 14 marks the beginning of change in Bihar; Bihar needs a CM like a lion: Tejashwi Yadav

Patna, October 6  Following the announcement of the Bihar Assembly election dates, Leader of the Opposition and former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav shared an emotional message on Monday. In this message, he described November 14, 2025, as the beginning of a bright future, change, and development for Bihar. Through this post, he appealed to the people of Bihar to work together to form a Grand Alliance government in the upcoming assembly elections.

Addressing the people of Bihar on the social media platform X, Tejashwi Yadav wrote in a post, “November 14, 2025, we must all remember this date. Whenever the pages of history are turned in the future, this date will forever be written in golden letters as the beginning of Bihar’s bright future, transformation, development, and progress. The trumpet of change has been sounded, the victory of the people has been announced. Now, every Bihari must gather all their heart and energy and unite to form a Grand Alliance government.”

He said that Bihar, eager for change, will vote for change after 20 years. This time, in the state with the largest youth population in the country, youth will vote to end unemployment. Not a single household in Bihar will remain without a youth. Tejashwi will provide government jobs to everyone. What the NDA government could not do in 17 years, we have done in 17 months. What this government could not do in 20 years, we will do in 20 months. With everyone’s cooperation, we will build a better, developed, and new Bihar.

Tejasvi questioned what Bihar has endured for 20 years. Sorrow, pain, wounds, crime, violence, hooliganism, murder, robbery, theft, rape, horrific crimes like the Muzaffarpur shelter home incident, bribery, corruption, over 100 scams, usurpation, hooliganism over interest and loans by microfinance companies, paper leaks, conspiracies, mandate theft, lathicharges, slaps, insults, indecent remarks against women, migration, unemployment, inflation, floods, droughts, lightning, hailstorms, evil eyes, misgovernance, dilapidated hospitals and schools, negligence in patient treatment, cybercrime, land grabbing, acid attacks, degree fraud, bridge collapses, road collapses, building collapses, vote theft, bragging, bureaucracy, dictatorship, jungle raj, and who knows what other calamities?

He said that for 20 years, Bihar has been battling these calamities, hoping that one day they will all end, but unfortunately, not even for a single day in the past 20 years have the people of Bihar experienced relief from these troubles. The only solution to this is to rid themselves of this dilapidated, incompetent, useless, ruthless, dilapidated, disorganized, inactive, corrupt, and dictatorial government. After 20 years, this opportunity has been presented once again, and Bihar will not let it slip away. Every voter is eager for change, everyone wants a Grand Alliance government. They want a Chief Minister with youthful enthusiasm, courageous, energetic, visionary, fearless, bold, self-respecting, principled, cultured, socialist, who fights for the rights of the poor, Dalits, the exploited, and the deprived, and who possesses the ability to achieve super-fast development.

Indirectly targeting Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Tejashwi further said that Bihar needs a Chief Minister who is not unconscious, in a debilitating state, or suffering from various mental illnesses. A Chief Minister who doesn’t beg with folded hands, but rather knows how to roar like a lion for Bihar’s rights, one whose challenge is so powerful that criminals tremble, whose roar is so powerful that it wipes out corruption, and whose willpower is so powerful that it can fulfill Bihar’s dreams of employment, happiness, prosperity, and peace. I thank all the people of Bihar and assure you that with the formation of your and our government, Bihar will begin writing a new glorious saga of change from day one.

He further said that today is not just the announcement of election dates, but the beginning of Bihar’s celebration. This celebration should not stop. After Diwali and Chhath Puja, Bihar’s twenty-year wait will end. After 20 years, such a grand festival will come that will dispel all sorrows and sufferings. On that day, every Bihari will embrace victory with Tejashwi, because on that day, every Bihari will become the Chief Minister of Bihar, meaning a change maker… the destiny maker of a new Bihar.
