New Delhi: A blind robbery was solved with the arrest of three robbers within 24 hrs by the team of ps burari

Trio have earlier attempted a robbery with a lady, who was present with her a 3 yrs old kid, but she raised alarm and the neighbour gathered, so trio ran away from the spot. One robbed mobile phone & cash rs 500/- recovered from their possession.
On 13.01.2022, the complainant Sh. Gunjan Kumar r/o Kamal Vihar Kamaalpur, Burari Delhi, age-25 years, (who works as a sales man), reported in his complaint that on 13.01.2022, he was returning towards his home on his bicycle. At about 12:20 PM, when he reached Pespi Road, Himgiri Enclave, Burari, he parked his bicycle and went to urinate in an empty plot on roadside. In the meantime, two persons came there, who beat him, dragged him and robbed his mobile phone, make of Vivo U10, cash Rs 600/- and fled away from the spot.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 49/2022, dated 13.01.2022, u/s 392/34 IPC was registered at PS Burari and investigation was taken up.
Considering the seriousness of the offence, a dedicated police team led by SI Satender Singh, comprising of ASI Rishikesh, HC Praveen, Ct Pardeep and Ct Rahees was constituted under the close supervision of Inspr. Rajender Singh, SHO/PS Burari and guidance of Shri Swagat Patil Rajkumar, ACP/Timarpur, to nab the culprits and workout the case.
The team conducted technical investigation, footage of around 200 CCTV cameras installed in the vicinity of the place of incident as well as at the possible routes taken by the culprits were checked and analysed. During technical investigation, the team got success in identifying one of the accused persons in CCTV footage.
The clue was further developed and secret sources were mobilised to trace the accused persons. Ultimately, continuous and sustained efforts of the police team bore fruits, when on the basis of technical inputs and secret sources; one of the accused persons identified as Anmesh @ Bhura, age-22 years was arrested on 14.01.2022 from Hrit Vihar, Burari, Delhi.
Subsequently, at the instance of accused Anmesh @ Bhura, raids were conducted and his associates identified as Akash @ Baniya, age-22 years and Arvind @ Bablu, age-33 years were also arrested from their houses. The mobile phone robbed from the complainant and cash Rs 500/- recovered from their possession.
During interrogation, the accused persons confessed about committing robbery with the complainant. They further confessed about committing another robbery with a lady on 23.10.2021, trio of them tried to rob a lady, age-35 years r/o Burari at gun point in the area of PS Burari as the victim lady was present in her house only along with her 03 years old baby girl. They even assaulted her with butt of the Deshi Katta (CMP), but during the incident she raised noise and neighbours gathered there and they managed to escape from the spot. In this regard, an attempt to robbery case was found registered at PS Burari vide FIR No. 874/21, dated 23.10.2021, u/s 394/34 IPC. They disclosed that they found the Country Made pistol near Nala and tried to use the same in the said robbery.
The accused Anmesh @ Bhura is illiterate and used to supply breads in the area, but due to insufficient earnings he left the job. The accused Akash @ Baniya is school dropout and has studied up to 5th standard only. The accused Arvind @ Bablu is also school dropout and has studied up to 7th standard only. All the accused joined hands and started committing crime.
Robbed Mobile phone, make Vivo and Cash Rs 500/- recoverd.
Investigation of the case is in progress and efforts are being made to ascertain their role in case attempt to robbery case of PS Burari and affect the recovery.
