AIMF: India needs to ensure ‘befitting retaliation’

New Delhi:

The All India Minority Front (AIMF) on Tuesday termed as shocking and unacceptable the death of an Indian colonel and two soldiers in a ‘violent face-off’ with Chinese troops at Galwan Valley, Ladakh.

The party has demanded the government to take some stringent measures and said that India needs to ensure “befitting retaliation.”

Joining the nation in paying tribute to the brave martyrs, Mr SM Asif, national president said, “The scuffle with China is a matter of serious national concern as it has grave implications for our national security.”

“The Chinese are known for their gradual encroachment and continuous aggression in the world. It is time now that the India stands up to these incursions,” Mr Asif said in the statement.

Mr Asif has demanded the government to announce Rs 1-crore assistance to the family of martyred who lost their life in the scuffle.
