New Delhi : The diligent team of Police Station Vikaspuri, has done a commendable work by arrested one active snatcher namely Varish Ali @ Waris along with the recovery of two stolen two wheelers and one snatched mobile phone. With his arrest total Five cases have been solved.
On 24/03/2024 a call of snatching was received at PS Vikas Puri accordingly, a case under section 356/379 IPC was registered. On that case, a team comprising SI Deepak Vashist, HC Sandeep, HC Ravi Kant, HC Mukesh, Ct Paramveer and Ct Karambir under the supervision of Insp. Rajveer Singh SHO Vikaspuri and overall supervision of ACP Surender Singh Rathee was formed.
During the course of investigation, the team examined the place of occurrence as well analysed CCTV footages nearby the place of incident and adjacent areas. With the help of technical and manual surveillance, one accused person was identified and apprehended. During interrogation he confess the above said crime. The complete identity of the apprehended person was revealed as Varish Ali @ Waris Ali S/o Sakirullah @ Sakir R/o Chhappa Wala Chowk Karol Bagh Delhi (age 27 years). He has been previously involved in 17 criminal cases of Robbery/ Snatching /Theft. During the further course of investigation one snatched mobile phone and two stolen two wheelers recovered at his instance.
