New Delhi, Feb 19 . On the occasion of the 22nd Foundation Day of the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes held at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi on Wednesday, Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram discussed the works of the BJP government. He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has done a lot of work for the tribals.

The minister said that former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee created a separate ministry for tribals during his tenure and also gave a budget. Today I can say with pride that we have done a lot of work during our tenure.
On this occasion, Jual Oram also released a website and brochure. He also congratulated the Delhi government which took oath in Delhi on February 20 and said that it is a matter of happiness for us and I will also go to the swearing-in ceremony.
Jual Oram also spoke to IANS. He said that today is the 22nd Foundation Day of the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes. I thank Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for creating a separate ministry for tribals and setting up a commission dedicated to the upliftment of the tribal community which is an important achievement and contribution.”
