The Chief Minister said that 51 lakh people in Delhi will be given the Corona vaccine on a priority basis. The 51 lakh persons who will be given the vaccine on a priority basis include health workers, the elderly and frontline workers. Giving information about this, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, “The Delhi government has made full arrangements to provide vaccine to the people of Delhi. Three types of people will be given the vaccine on a priority basis. The first is the health worker, Front line workers and then people who are above 50 years of age or have a diabetes-like illness. “
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also gave information about the corona vaccine and its storage. According to the Chief Minister, there are about 51 lakh people in Delhi, who will be given vaccines on priority. 1 crore 2 lakh doses are needed for 51 lakh people in Delhi. We currently have the capacity to store 74 lakh doses.
The Delhi government will arrange for the corona vaccine to be delivered to all Delhi people at the earliest, in this order the storage capacity of the corona vaccine will also be increased. According to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, in the next few days, the storage capacity of the Corona vaccine will be increased to 15 million doses.
All those who are vaccinated in Delhi will be registered. Delhi Government will notify them from time to time. As many locations and workers will be required, they have been identified.
The government will ensure that no person undergoes any side effects due to the vaccine. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that if someone has side effects due to the vaccine, then separate arrangements have also been made for the same.
Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said, “After health workers and frontline warriors, our elderly and children will be vaccinated. Then we will vaccinate all of Delhi. The Delhi government is fully capable of vaccinating the entire population of Delhi.” We have also made arrangements for storage for the vaccine. We are just waiting for the vaccine. “
The Delhi Government has said that this vaccine can be applied to the whole of Delhi within just three to four weeks when the corona vaccine arrives. However, it will depend on the availability of the vaccine, how long it takes for all the people of Delhi to apply the vaccine.
Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain said, “After the corona vaccine comes, we are ready to vaccinate the whole of Delhi in three to four weeks. The Delhi government has enough resources and within a few weeks of getting the corona vaccine, All the people of Delhi will be reached. “
