NEW DELHI | A resolution letter was passed against agricultural laws on Thursday in the special session of the Delhi Legislative Assembly. The Delhi Legislative Assembly rejected the three agricultural laws of the Central Government and there is an appeal from the Central Government to withdraw them. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, “There was a similar movement in Punjab under the leadership of Shaheed Bhagat Singh’s father against three laws even during the British time and the British had to withdraw the laws.”
He said, “In UP and Bihar, paddy is being sold for 900 to 1000 rupees per quintal, which is much lower than MSP. If this law is in the interest of farmers, then BJP should tell where farmers should sell paddy so that they can get MSP It was for the first time in India’s 70-year history that Azad passed all the three laws without voting in the Rajya Sabha. ”
In the assembly, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that “Sant Ram Singh had so much pain for the society and farmers of the country that he had made so much sacrifice that he was martyred by writing the letter, his pain in that letter was that I was suffering from farmers Not being seen. Singh used to bring jackets, blankets for the farmers on the border daily. When the suffering of the farmers became helpless for them, they martyred. ”
CM Arvind Kejriwal said, “Our lawyer in the Supreme Court said that the demands of the farmers are justified. The demands of the farmers should be met. The case was about the farmers sitting above the Delhi border, so there is a problem with traffic. “Our lawyer stood up and said that the central government is responsible for this. If the central government agrees to their demand in 1 hour, then the picket will arise.”
BJP MLA in Delhi Legislative Assembly Mohan Singh Bisht opposed this stand of the Delhi government. He said, “The Delhi government is seeing the Punjab and Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. That is why the Aam Aadmi Party and the Delhi government are unnecessarily opposing the agricultural laws.”
