New Delhi, February 22 . Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta addressed the public from her residence on Saturday. She said that whatever promises we have made, they will be fulfilled at all costs.
Pointing towards the people, she said that I would like to thank all of you that you supported me. Because of this I have got a chance to serve you people.
Thanking PM Modi for being made the Chief Minister, she said that it is the Prime Minister’s blessing that the daughter of Delhi got such a big honor.
After this, pointing towards the people, she said in a questioning tone that your blessings are with me, right? To this, the people said yes and raised slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai.
She assured the people that the problem is of a few days which will go away on its own. I want to spend every day for the welfare of the people of Delhi.
After taking oath, the CM also talked about moving forward on the path of duty. She said, we took oath the day before yesterday. After this, a cabinet meeting was held on the same day. In our very first meeting after taking oath, we implemented the Ayushman scheme. This scheme was put on hold by the previous government, but we implemented it, so that the health security of every person in Delhi can be ensured.
She further said that today is the third day. I am continuously holding meetings with officials of all departments in the Secretariat and ensuring that no work stops. I assure that I will not let a single day of the people of Delhi go waste. Every day will be used in the interest of the people of Delhi. We have only one mission.
She said that I would like to thank all of you that you people have come from far and wide to support me.
