FIR registered in Mundka fire case, company owner arrested, building owner absconding

New Delhi| Delhi Police has registered an FIR in the Mundka fire case. 27 people have died in this incident. A government official gave this information. Giving information, Deputy Commissioner of Police (External) Sameer Sharma said that an FIR was registered in the matter under relevant sections.

Most of the people were present on the second floor when the fire broke out on Friday evening. The fire first started on the first floor. CCTV and router manufacturing company were present on the first floor.

A senior police officer said that the owners of the company have been arrested. They have been identified as Harish Goyal and Varun Goel. Further investigations are on.

Meanwhile, the owner of the building on the top floor, Manish Lakra, is said to be absconding. Police are trying to find out whether he was present in the building at the time of the incident.

At present, the police are on the hunt for the building’s honor.

As per the latest reports, the search operation of the NDRF team is still going on.
