New Delhi: New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) shared the experience of its newly developed Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) with MCD’s Commissioners and other senior officers who visited the ICCC at Palika Kendra, New Delhi today.
In his welcome address, the Chairperson – NDMC, Shri Dharmendra informed the guests that NDMC’s Integrated Command and Control Centre was inaugurated by the Lt. Governor – Delhi Shri Anil Baijal in mid of the last month. He suggested that NDMC should call the heads of other Civic Bodies of Delhi to get the idea of implementing it in their respective municipalities.
NDMC Chairperson said that first of its kind in Delhi NDMC has set up this Integrated Command and Control Centre for managing multiple services from single location on a common platform under Smart City Mission. More than 19 NDMC services like solid waste management, street lighting, parking, sewage treatment plant etc. have been integrated on this platform.
On the occasion, Secretary NDMC Shri Amit Singla gave a detailed presentation on the functioning and utilities of Integrated Command and Control Centre. He also interacted with the MCD’s officers and answered their querries regarding Command Centre.
Besides Commissioner of South Delhi Municipal Corporation Shri Gyanesh Bharti, other senior officers of civic bodies were also present at the occasion.
